Privacy Policy

MMS Communications Hungary Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (registered office: 1056 Budapest, Irányi utca 17., Cg: 01-09-075283, Tax number: 10516771-2-44) as a data controller (hereinafter referred to as „Data Controller”) provide the former employees with the opportunity to indicate their intention to join the alumni programme (hereinafter referred to as: „Alumni Programme”) of the Data Controller by providing their data (hereinafter referred to as „Registration”).

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the data processing in connection with the Registration.

The Data Controller shall provide the following prior information to the former employees (hereinafter referred to as “Data Subjects“) in connection with the Registration and shall request the Data Subjects’ explicit consent to the processing of their personal data in order to ensure the protection of their privacy rights and to process their personal data in accordance with the applicable legal requirements[1].

Personal data concerned: according to Article 4(1) of the GDPR, your name, email address, constitute personal data and any operation performed on the data constitute processing for which the Data Subject’s consent is required in order to be legally compliant.

In connection with the Registration, we will process your data as specified above.

Legal basis for processing: the Data Subject’s (your) consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) which you can express
• by providing your name, email address and by clicking on the “Sign up” button.

Processing of the Data Subject’s personal data: at the https://www.publicisgroupe.hu/alumni/ website the Data Subjects can express their interest in applying for the Alumni Program of the Data Controller by providing their data and by pressing the sign up button. The Data Controller will then send 4 newsletter per year.

Purpose of the processing: is the Registration for the Alumni Programme and contacting and liaising via newsletters by the Data Controller.

Duration of data processing: the processing of the Registration data lasts as long as the Data Subject wishes to maintain the Alumni membership. Please note that in case the Data Subject enters into an employment relationship with the Data Controller, the Alumni membership will automatically be terminated and the data will be deleted. The Data Subject may cancel his/her registration or modify his/her data at any time.

Consent to data processing: this notice relates to the Registration and to contact in connection with the Alumni Programme, where the processing of your data is possible on the basis of your voluntary consent. Please express your consent by providing your data and press the „Sign up” button.

Consequences of not providing the personal data: the Data Subject is unable to access the Alumni Programme or the Data Controller is unable to contact the Data Subject.

Withdrawal of consent afterwards or exercise the right to erasure: with regard to the voluntariness of your consent, you may withdraw it an time during the period of processing. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the use until this date. In case of withdrawal we will take reasonable steps to comply with your request, taking into account the available technology and the cost of implementation, and will delete your data immediately. You can withdraw your consent/ exercise your right to erasure by sending an email to the Data Protection Contact.

Data subjects’ rights and remedies: You have the right of access (Article 15 GDPR), the right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR) and the right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR) in relation to the processing of your data in connection with the Registration. The Data Controller will inform you of the action taken on your request within 1 month at the latest. In the event of any complaint or objection concerning the processing of personal data, you can contact the Controller and the Data protection contact directly. In the event of a breach of your rights, you can take legal action against the Data Controller (at your choice, the court of the Data Controller’s registered office or the court of your place of residence). The court shall proceed with urgency in the case. Legal proceedings relating to the protection of personal data are free of charge. You can also file a complaint by the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (address: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9.).
