The Groupe’s internal regional incentive, the Make It Awards, announced this year’s winners. Across the CEE regional markets, teams could submit their best cases in 8 different categories, but the jury handed out 2 special awards as well for outstanding strategy. Let’s see how the Hungarian lions did on the regional stage!
The Make It Awards is about those who make it – it celebrates strategic excellence, cross-country, and cross-teams collaborations. The award was established to highlight the best cases of the Make It Playbook usage, and to set a standard of the CEE regional excellence. This year, the competition was especially strong: compared to last year, the number of submissions has tripled, leaving the jury to select the best of the best out of 200 cases.
The Make It Awards awarded the best works out of 8 very different categories. We succeeded in 4 different categories with multiple works. We took home:
🥉 a bronze for the Futureproof Academy by Samsung in the BEST INTEGRATED CAMPAIGN category. Here, the judges selected the winners based on their 360 accomplishments, and the best usage of the overall Make It playbook.
🥈 a silver for the Server of Appreciation by Samsung in the BEST CONTENT/ COMMERCE/ PERFORMANCE category. The recognition highlights how we used content as the core of our campaign idea — serving as both the creative foundation and the main driver of campaign performance.
🏅 a special award for the Media Team’s Porsche Hungaria Media tender in the BEST PITCH STRATEGY category. The Make It playbook can be used in multiple ways – the pitching process is no exception. The Media Team’s well-deserved win highlights that success begins with a killer pitch strategy.
🥇 a gold for our Pain Ambassadors by Opella’s Algoflex in the BEST CREATIVE STRATEGY category. Our NPCs continue to shine. The jury president said that our team delivered the freshest and most disruptive creative approach. A surprising, yet efficient campaign that is built on strategic thinking, regardless of which platform it appears on.
Congrats to Team Romania, whose campaign for PEPSICO Lay’s, Hall of Fans, earned the Grand Prix!
