While the official worldwide Pride month is June, our celebration extends till mid-July because the Budapest Pride march. For us, that just means having more time to stand in pride with our activities for this year’s Pride.
The Pride Dance Night is an initiative by Charme Hungary Dance Club in collaboration with Budapest Pride and we are happy to host this event for the 2nd year in a row. The event is open to anyone interested in ballroom dancing, regardless of age, gender, or ability. Expect English waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, slow fox, quickstep, samba, cha-cha, rumba, paso doble, jive, Argentinian tango, and salsa tunes.
For our monthly Thirsty Thursday, we are inviting renowned Hungarian drag queen, Valerie Divine, for a fun night of bingo with a colorful twist!
Publicis Groupe Hungary will of course be joining the Budapest Pride march along with We Are Open on Saturday, July 15 to celebrate diversity and equality for all.
Budapest Pride is organized by the Rainbow Mission Foundation (Szivárvány Misszió Alapítvány) and we feel privileged to be able to annually donate 1 million HUF to help support their work.
We Are Open (Nyitottak Vagyunk) is a non-profit that creates campaigns to promote diversity and inclusion for millions of people. They’ve helped companies become more open by offering services, workshops, and consultations. Our CEO, Helga, who positions acceptance and openness as fundamental core values, has taken a role as Chair of the Board for We Are Open. We couldn’t be prouder as a company.
